I'll have some new pieces available in this biennial event organised by the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen. This exhibition will be a showcase of fine contemporary craftmanship set in a beautiful house and gardens originally designed in the Arts & Crafts style.

For this event there are items available from the Coastal & Lake collection and some stripey vases from the Pattern & Surface collection. All ranging from soft pale blues through to a deep navy hue, these pieces have been selected because they compliment one another in both colour and tone.

A new selection of ceramics from the Coastal & Lake collection will be available here in this homely interior setting, alongside paintings by John Button.
From expressive painterly surfaces, through a spectrum of rich bright glazes, to the variety of tones found within naturally occurring clay bodies. This will be an exciting exhibition showcasing the diverse ways in which colour can be used or applied within the field of ceramics.

I am excited that a group of my vessels from the Pattern & Surface collection have been selected to feature in this exhibition which coincides with the 60th anniversary of Milan Design Week. (Now due to take place in September 2021). The exhibition will be curated by Italian architect Giulio Cappellini and there will be an accompanying publication available which has been designed by Pier Paolo Pitacco.

Handmade in Britain: Chelsea ONLINE - the interactive virtual craft fair.
This is an online exhibition organised by the Handmade in Britain team to coincide with the regular annual event at Chelsea Old Town Hall, London. This forms part of their Interact: Handmade in Britain series that has been implemented in response to the circumstances we now find ourselves in as a result of the pandemic.
I will be participating in this online exhibition in November, showcasing some NEW pieces as well as some customer favourites from across the collections. I will be available to discuss items with you similar to if you visited me at the show in person.
This is a wonderful opportunity to view, discuss, purchase items this year from makers who work across a range of disciplines - including specialists in ceramics, textiles, jewellery, furniture, glass and leatherwork.

A solo showcase exhibition at David Simon Contemporary, 37 High Street, Castle Cary, Somerset, BA7 7AW
A group of NEW ceramics will be available in the autumn incorporating both the stronger green tones of the Field & Country collection plus the cool blue and white colour palette of the Coastal & Lake collection. This selection of pieces will exude a painterly and expressive freshness with the use of broad and bold layers of overlapping decorating slips which are then enhanced by the glazing process.
This exhibition also coincides with a showcase of textural paintings by Julia Cooper

This is a wonderful event in association with The Contemporary Craft Festival, now in it’s second year and set in the beautiful surroundings of Cheltenham Town Hall. This is part of the wider Handmade in Britain exhibition, now in it’s 4th year, where you can be absorbed in the wonderful handcrafted work presented to you from 150 international and UK based contemporary designer-makers, whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings of Kew Gardens complete with glasshouses and stunning blooms.
